Job Description

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a Cardiovascular Lab.
• Addresses psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
• Communicates continuously with physicians regarding patient conditions.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and inventory management.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Licensure: Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
• Certifications:

  • Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificates required upon hire.
• Experience:

  • One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.
  • EPIC EMR and GE Maclab experience required.

Required Credentials

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Nursys License Verification
• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (score 80% or higher)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (score 80% or higher)
• COVID-19 Vaccination (2 vaccines and booster required or declination completed)
• MMR Immunity (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Fit Test (annual)
• Hepatitis B Immunity (declinations accepted)
• Influenza Vaccine (or declination required October 1 - May 31)
• TB Test (must be completed within 6 months of onboarding)
• Driver's License/State ID or Passport
• Varicella Immunity (vaccination/titer or declination accepted)
• Tdap Immunity (declinations accepted)
• Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
• Physical/Health Statement (must state clear to work)
• National Criminal Background Check (within one year of start date)
• Prime Agency Attestation
• Prime SAM/EPLS
• Prime Badge Photo (JPEG only)
• Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
• Prime Specialty Exam (score 80% or higher)
• Prime Job Description (signed by employee)
• Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test)

Additional Information

• Documentation of previous positive TB skin test or Quantiferon may be required for chest x-ray acceptance.
• Must complete all required credentials and testing prior to onboarding.
• Agency attestation accepted for some credentials.
