Overview

Job Description
- Work in a 30-bed inpatient unit providing care to patients with malignant hematologic disorders.
- Involvement in stem cell transplant and CAR-T infusions, along with various research protocols.
- Day/Night rotations every 2 weeks.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) required.
- Must hold an ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider card.
Required Credentials
- Oncology Certified Nurse from ONCC (Required for Onboarding)
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Required for Onboarding)
- License/Certificate Verification: Professional license verification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.
- MMR: Positive titers required from within the last 15 years.
- Fit Test: Completed within 1 year of start.
- Hepatitis B: Proof of vaccination series or signed declination required.
- Varicella: Positive titers required from within the last 15 years.
- Tdap: Proof of vaccination within the past 10 years.
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA: Negative results required within the last 6 months.
- Physical Exam: Completed within one year of initial start date.
- Influenza Vaccine: Proof required from October to March or approved exemption.
- Driver's License/State ID: Non-expired photo ID required.
- UHS Submission Packet: Resume, education, work history, and professional references required.
- UHS Criminal Background Check Results: Must be completed within 6 months prior to start.
- UHS OIG Search: To be completed within 6 months prior to start.
- UHS Drug Screen: Must be completed within 60 days of start date.
Additional Information
- Candidates must provide supporting documentation for all required credentials.
- All credentials must be verified and submitted as per the guidelines outlined above.
- Safety and Compliance Training modules must be completed prior to clearance.
