Job Description

The role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Key responsibilities include:

Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Providing, delegating, supervising, and documenting care and teaching for patients and their families.
Effectively communicating pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
Participating in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensuring the implementation of those solutions.

Additional Information

Requires clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
