Job Description

• Work in a post-stroke, neuro interventional COU.
• Required to have BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with EPIC is a must.
• Must work every other weekend and holiday weekend.
• Ability to perform EKGs is required.
• May be required to float to similar units.
• Seeking high performers who are caring and deliver excellent care.
• 30-bed Neuro Stroke Unit with a patient ratio of 1:4 in SDU and 1:5-6 in telemetry.

Required Credentials

• Driver's License/State ID: Required for onboarding.
• BLS Certification: Must be from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• NIHSS Certification: Required.
• Nursys License Verification: Must be verified.
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of 2 vaccines and booster required or declination completed.
• MMR Immunity: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer required.
• Fit Test: Annual respirator fit test required.
• Hepatitis B Immunity: Required.
• Influenza Vaccine: Required from October 1 to May 31.
• TB Test: Required.
• Varicella Immunity: Vaccination or titer required.
• Tdap Immunity: Required.
• Annual TB Questionnaire: Required.
• Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed annually.
• Prime Criminal Background Check: Required within one year of start date.
• Prime Badge Photo: Clear headshot required.
• Prime Form I-9: Employment eligibility verification required.
• Prime Job Description: Must be signed by the employee.
• DCI/BVP Certification: Required.

• Must score 80% or higher on various competency exams.
• National Criminal Background Check is mandatory.
• Agency attestation accepted for some credentials.
• A notarized name affidavit may be required for name discrepancies.
