Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist position involves the accurate application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with a focus on high-quality diagnostic radiographs and minimal radiation exposure to patients.
• Positioning patients and equipment to accurately demonstrate the area being examined, requiring extensive anatomic positioning skills.
• Providing appropriate radiation protection for patients and staff during exposures, adhering to safety standards.
• Adjusting technical factors to ensure appropriate exposure using independent judgment and knowledge of human anatomy, disease effects on radiographs, and radiologic equipment operation.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of X-ray experience required.
• Certifications: ARRT and BLS (AHA) required.
