Job Description

Shift: Day/Night Rotate Shift
Weekend Requirement: Expected to work every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Expected to work every other holiday
Orientation: Eight hours of non-billable orientation

Requirements

Certifications:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Experience:
- Stepdown level of care
- Medical-Surgical Level Care, including Vascular Surgeries and other surgical services
- Experience with Trauma, Neuro, ENT, General Surgery, Urosurgery, Plastic Surgery, and Bariatric Arterial lines
Floating: Floating to other units is expected
Local Candidates: The facility does not accept local RN candidates within 75 miles

Additional Information

The facility can call off up to 3 shifts for a 13-week contract and 2 shifts for contracts shorter than 13 weeks.

If you get cancelled for low census, your food and housing stipend will not be paid for that shift and will be deducted from your paycheck, so if you work somewhere with low census you may want to look into an agency that doesn't do this.
