Job Description

• Responsible for circulating and scrubbing in the Operating Room (OR).
• Experience with XI da Vinci surgical system is preferred.
• Requires 12 overnight call shifts within a 6-week schedule.
• Every other weekend call shifts and holiday rotation are mandatory.

Required Credentials and Certifications

1. BLS Certification: Must be AHA certified.
2. Nursys Verification: Required within 30 days prior to start.
3. License/Certificate Verification: Current license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
4. Ascension Specialty Exam: Must be completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years.
5. Ascension Color Vision: Must be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
6. Ascension Core Competencies: Must be completed within a year of start and updated yearly.
7. Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation: Must be uploaded after completion of pre-hire modules.
8. Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding: Completed onsite.
9. Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen: Must be completed within 30 days prior to start.
10. Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam required prior to first assignment.
11. Fit Test: Required for all travelers, preferably completed prior to start.
12. MMR Vaccination: Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer required.
13. Hepatitis B Documentation: Required for all travelers.
14. Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (October 1 - March 31).
15. Varicella Documentation: Proof of vaccination or immunity required.
16. Tdap Vaccination: Must be valid for 10 years from the administered date.
17. Driver's License/State ID: Must not be expired and match the address on file.
18. Professional References: At least two professional references required.
19. Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days of first assignment.
20. Education Verification: Must be completed within 90 days of start.

Additional Information

• Candidates must be prepared to wear a mask if they have exemptions/declinations for the influenza vaccine.
• A forward-facing headshot with a white or blue background is required for the Ascension badge.
• Completion of an exit survey is required at the end of the assignment.
