Certification details
- Position/Specialty: Neuro IR Tech / Neuro
- Daily Caseload per tech: 4-5
- Shift: Will work 5x8 hour shifts, 7am-3:30pm
- Weekend REQ: N/A
- Is on-call REQ? Every 5th weekend and one night per week. Radius should be within 30 minutes during on call.
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No
- Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
Job details
- Years of experience REQ: 2 years
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Certifications REQ: BLS, ARRT (R), Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) or CCI (RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist))
- Experience REQ: Interventional Radiology and Neuro experience
- Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers
Job requirements
- Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
- RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Schedule information
- Facility would like a copy of all certifications that traveler possess.
Unit specific information
- Qualivis: Attestation required confirming work eligibility in the US and that Agency Staff does have a completed and accurate I-9 form on file.
- Copy of Driver's License Required
- Copy of Social Security Card is required. If the traveler does not have a copy of their SSC and is not using it as a supporting doc on their I9, the facility might accept the SSN by itself.

If you get cancelled for low census, your food and housing stipend will not be paid for that shift and will be deducted from your paycheck, so if you work somewhere with low census you may want to look into an agency that doesn't do this.
