Job Description

• Attend every delivery and provide neonatal recovery.
• Care for Level 2 Special Care Nursery babies when the nursery is open.
• Float to LDRP unit and care for stable postpartum couplets (maximum of 2 couplets).
• Must have NICU experience.
• On-call requirements: maximum of 16 hours of call in a 6-week period.

Required Credentials and Certifications

1. MMR Vaccination: Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer. No declinations accepted.
2. Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred to be completed prior to start.
3. Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination.
4. Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (October 1 - March 31). Exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
5. Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
6. Driver's License/State ID: Must match address on file.
7. 2 Step PPD or IGRA: Required for TB screening.
8. Varicella: Documented proof of vaccination or immunity.
9. Tdap: Must be current.
10. BLS Certification: Must be AHA certified.
11. NRP Certification: Must be AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics certified.
12. Ascension Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist to be completed annually.
13. Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen: Must be completed within 30 days prior to start.
14. Education Verification: Verification of education relevant to clinical work.
15. Nursys Verification: Required within 30 days prior to start.
16. License/Certificate Verification: Current license verification required.

• Professional References: At least two professional references required prior to first assignment.
