Job requirements
- 8:00 - 4:30pm with a 30 min lunch. Monday thru Friday with alternating Saturdays EOW
- Alternating Saturdays EOW
- Comp days provided to keep work week down to 5 days
- Major holidays per staffing needs
Schedule information
- Acute Inpatient hospitals. (Based in Bryan but may float to College Station Hospital campus as needed)
- NICU is beneficial but not required
- Yes, you will assist in supervising Rehab Techs, rarely a COTA
Unit specific information
- Profiles go directly over to the manager for consideration
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.
- Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
- General caseload is about 8-10 patients per day with expectation of 1 completed eval per hour worked.
- OT's will mostly see evals but when given treats, the expectation is 1.25 completed treatments per worked hour.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
