Job Description

A hospital in Washington is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Tech for a travel contract.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Nuclear Medicine
• Certifications:

  • Active BLS certification
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
  • Washington State License
• Skills:

  • Proficient in IV starting
  • Ability to multi-task

Job Duties

• Perform all General Nuclear Medicine studies and Cardiac studies.
• Duties align with General Nuclear Medicine requirements in imaging patients.

Department Information

• Equipment: 2 GE Discovery 630 Gamma Cameras
• Average Scans/Studies per Day:

  • 5-6 general studies
  • 4-5 cardiac studies
• EMR System: EPIC
• PACS: SECTRA

Work Schedule

• Shifts: Varying start times from 06:30-08:30, Monday-Sunday
• Weekend Requirement: Some weekends required
• Holiday Requirement: Yes
• Call Requirement: Yes, with a 30-minute response time

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Personal scrubs of good taste required
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation provided
• Radiologist Availability: In-house 24/7
• Floating: No requirement to float to other areas

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

• Radiation badge required prior to starting the travel assignment.
• Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax, which can be re-added.
