Job details

Medical Care Unit Nurse and Inpatient Rehabilitation nurse delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
The Medical Care Unit Nurse provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry and Psychiatric Issues.
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Adult, Geriatric, Medical/Surgical and Adolescents.
Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime.

Job requirements

Required for clinical positions only (AHA or ARC acceptable)
Primary Source Verification of professional license, and/or certification, as required for the position ran within 30 days of start updated upon expiration.
Complete within 12 months - does not expire
Physician Statement within the last 12 months
2 Professional References for all positions, 1 must be from Supervisor.

Additional Details

2 vaccines or positive titer. If low or equivocal 1 Booster or declination accepted.
Required September 1st through March 31st – Must be from CURRENT flu season. Flu declinations may be accepted on condition traveler wear a mask at all time during flu season.
PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot within 1 year of start. Chest X-ray within 5 years of start for Positive PPD. Will accept TBQ in lieu of TB for anyone who has received COVID-19 vaccine in last 4 weeks.
Unexpired government issued photo ID
Valid for 10 years from the administered date. Declinations accepted.

If you get cancelled for low census, your food and housing stipend will not be paid for that shift and will be deducted from your paycheck, so if you work somewhere with low census you may want to look into an agency that doesn't do this.
