  • Essential Functions: The following job specific requirements should discuss the essential duties and responsibilities required of the position.
  • Formal Education Required: a. Graduate of an A.M.A. or CoARC approved program for Respiratory Therapists (Registry eligible).
  • Experience and Training Required: a. Valid Ohio license (RCP) to practice Respiratory Care, granted by the State Medical Board of Ohio. b. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) & obtain RRT within 120 days of employment (start date).
  • Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: a. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. b. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
    Job requirements
  • Valid Ohio license (RCP) to practice Respiratory Care.
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) & obtain RRT within 120 days of employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    Additional Details
  • AHA only - required for ALL nurses AHA RQI is acceptable.
  • Primary Source Verify. Copy of License / Certificate Needed state specific registry.
  • Required by ALL travelers prior to start. Fully vaccinated (2 doses if applicable) Medical or Religious Exemptions approved on a case by case basis.
  • Fit Test: Required for all patient facing positions.
  • Required by ALL travelers Sept-April.
  • Negative 10 panel drug screen within 30 days of start, updated annually.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
