Job details

Registered Nurse specializing in ICU with a start date on January 6th. JANUARY START. The position requires candidates to float within scope to meet the needs of the facility, accommodate block schedules where possible, be aware that the facility uses EPIC charting system, and is a teaching hospital. Would need to be nicotine free.

Job requirements

18 months ICU experience required; 2 years preferred.
First-time candidates accepted: Yes.
Epic experience required at a level 3 or 4.
Locals accepted with same rate.

Schedule information

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs for 3x12's or 40 hrs for 8/10's.

Unit specific information

Candidates may have to complete Pass/Fail Testing during orientation specifically for RNs/LPNs, as applicable.

Additional Details

All RTO must be included at the time of submission.
Smoke-free facility: All travelers must be nicotine free, no exceptions!
Parking is free in any unrestricted space.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
