Job details

Occupational Therapist (OT) Position Summary: This position delegates responsibility to the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Aides. Activities of this position are patient focused and utilize assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with occupational therapy standards, physician orders, and governing policies and procedures.
A day in the life as an Occupational Therapist (OT) with MidMichigan Health includes evaluating the patient’s function, developing specific treatment regimes, updating plans of care, devising treatment schedules, and educating patient and family.

Job requirements

At least one year of Home Care experience - Required
Licensure (MI LARA) & Certifications (BLS - AHA) - Required

Schedule information

Mostly Outpatient with Acute Care
ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at or after time of offer)

Additional Details

Active Drivers License, Auto-Insurance, Reliable Vehicle, and clean DMV Report - Required
Profile Requirements: Work History, Skills Checklist current to 1 year, 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50 mile radius restriction)
Dress Code: Uniform or dress/casual clothes no jeans
Coverage Area: 6 counties, typically one county per OT
Mileage: IRS Standard Mileage per day: 25-100

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
