  • THIS IS AN RN/NURSING NEED IN THE RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT! This position provides quality nursing care to both in and out patients in the Radiology Department. Skills utilized in the position include assessment, communication, teaching, leadership and management of patient nursing care within Diagnostic radiology, Special procedures, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Must be qualified and prepared to handle all unexpected emergencies that occur during any radiological procedure.
    Job requirements
  • 2+ years of current Critical Care, ICU, ER, or PACU experience - Required
  • EPIC experience - Required
  • Must have New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/ Registration Certificate

  • BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL NOT BE ACCOMMODATED/CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED.
  • Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
  • Traveler must be willing to work ONE of the following: Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.
    Unit specific information
  • Patient population: Adult-Geriatric
  • Dress code: Traveler provided professional scrubs (no logos)
  • EMR: Epic
    Additional Details
  • Covid vaccinations strongly recommended, but not required.
  • As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
