    Job details
  • RN Emergency Room position at Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center
  • Minimum one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting, E.R. setting preferred.
    Job requirements
  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
  • Current PALS (AHA) certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current
    Additional Details
  • COVID-19 Vaccine required
  • Proof of 2 Vaccines or Positive Titer showing immunity (MMR)
  • Annual Respirator fit test required.
  • Flu Vaccine or declination required October 1-May 31.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination required.
  • TB Test required.
  • Vaccination/titer showing immunity (Varicella) required.
  • Tdap vaccination required.
  • Physical/Health statement required.
  • National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date required.
  • Driver's license, State ID, or Passport required.
  • Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire for EDAP certified facilities.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 12 months of hire required.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
