Job details

A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced Tele nurses for a travel assignment.
Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Neuro overflow, CVAs, trauma, general surgery.

Job requirements

2 years of experience required.
Must hold an active BLS, ACLS, and AZ license or compact.

Schedule information

12 hr shifts. 7-7.
Every other weekend requirement.

Unit specific information

Ratios: 1:3-4
Scrub Color: Navy
Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.
Vents: Airvo/High Flow
Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night.

Additional Details

COVID vaccine is required, or religious or medical declination form required.
Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
