75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please submit candidates with an active scrub tech certification. Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in large OR. Ortho, ENT and/or vascular experience a plus. Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
8 hour varied shift position - Shift start time - 0630. May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call for weekends and holidays as needed.
Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

Job requirements

2 years experience in large OR.
Active scrub tech certification required.

Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
Ensure an accurate SS# and DOB is entered. If not, traveler may be pushed/agency suspended (creates I.T. onboarding issues).

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
