Active WA License
Pending license needed to submit. Temp license takes approximately 4 weeks.

Schedule information

Weeknight/Call Requirement: 2-3 calls in a 6-week schedule
Weekend/Call Requirement: 2-3 calls in a 6-week schedule
Holiday/Call Requirement: N/A
Mandatory call/standby requirement: 2-3 calls in a 6-week schedule
Call response time: 20 minutes for trauma; 30 minutes for non-trauma
Variable 3/12s, 1030-2300 or nights, weekends included

Unit specific information

Unit: OR and OR Tech
# suites: 11
# of cases per day: 30-40
Common Cases: neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, robotics, plastics
Experience or 'Must have' skills: 2 yrs OR experience. Preferably trauma experience, Needs Robotics experience (DaVinci)
Scrubbing required - RN's: No
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge Nurse and Manager
EMR: Epic
Shifts & Scheduling: Qgenda
Floating Requirements: To Walters
Scrub Color/Dress Code: We provide hospital scrubs
Unit/Department specific orientation: Yes

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
