Job details

The Certified Surgical Technician, under the direction of the Operating Room Manager, is responsible for organizing services related to a specific or group of surgical specialty(ies) to ensure quality patient care, efficient and cost effective service, providing a focal point for information related to that service to ensure that staff and physicians have needed information; ensuring/providing continuity of care for all aspects of the perioperative period; and, managing all aspects of care to ensure that quality is assured, i.e., equipment availability; equipment functionality.

2 years current CST experience
NBSTSA REQUIRED (NCCT not accepted)
AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO PROFILE - PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION.
License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (NBSTSA, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

Schedule information

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following: Thanksgiving and weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
