DECEMBER/JANUARY ORIENTATION DATES: December 9, 2024, December 16, 2024, January 6, 2025, January 20, 2025.
Cheshire will not consider "Local Travelers" (those who reside within 50 miles of facility).
Covid vaccinations strongly recommended, but not required.
Typical Patient Day/Load/Ratio: We perform 60 minute evaluations and treatment sessions 30 to 45 minutes as appropriate based on diagnosis. We only treat one patient at a time. Typical 2 to 3 evaluations a day and then rest of day treatments (2 evaluations plus 11 treatment (30 minutes in length).
Physical therapy helps build strength, regain mobility, and improve balance. It can also strengthen your body, reduce pain, and prevent future injury.

Job requirements

Minimum 2+ years current PT experience (No New Grads).
Womens Health Certification Needed.
Previous travel experience - Highly Preferred.
EPIC and Expro experience - REQUIRED.
NH license must be in hand at profile upload.

Schedule information

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Traveler must be willing to work ONE of the following: Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.

Unit specific information

Patient Population: Typically Adult, but experience in all age groups welcome.
No open toe/back shoes. Dress Code: Either personal scrubs of any color or business casual (Athleisure/stretchy clothing ok too, but no leggings, crop shirts, etc).

Additional Details

This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
Profile Requirements: Cover page (if available/not required), Work History, License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NH License ((or compact)) and BLS).

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
