Job details

Provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner.
Responsible to perform according to location standards, procedures and individualized resident care plans.
Essential duties include assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating a plan of care for residents.
Safeguards residents' property and maintains privacy and confidentiality.
Observes and documents care provided; responds promptly to resident call lights.
Basic Responsibilities include complying with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Job requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Basic ability to communicate and comprehend.
Knowledge of basic nursing skills and familiarity with medication effects.
Must effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
