A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Echo Tech for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS and be a registered Echo Tech.

Schedule information

Shift: 0800-1630 or 0700-1530 (depending on staffing needs)
8s or 10s available
Weekends: Every Other Weekend as needed
Call: Required if candidate meets all criteria

Unit specific information

Unit: Echocardiography
Required to wear Teal scrubs
Rotating call schedule about 2x a contract

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
