- BLS - Basic Life Support
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Join the nationally known American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.
- Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in a state-of-the-art 21-bed unit.
- Provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a variety of medical and surgical problems such as acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi system organ failure, and ECMO.
- Pediatric ICU experience required.
- Solid experience in PICU, and some CV ICU or cardiac step down or general cardiac experience required.
- Two years of acute care experience within the last three years.
- 36 hours/week.
- Evening/night shifts, 1900-0730 Mon-Fri, every other weekend.
- Highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team.
- 21-bed pediatric ICU unit.
- Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
- Floating may be required depending on staffing needs.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
