Job details

Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics position available at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus in Columbus, Georgia as part of Piedmont Healthcare system.
This is a Travel/Contract role.
The job involves patient care for Infants to Geriatrics with a focus on Adult Respiratory Therapy.

Job requirements

Minimum experience of 1 year is required.
Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Schedule information

Max RTO is 7 days.
Work every other weekend.
Expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed.
Floating within facility and to sister campus if needed.

Unit specific information

Patient population includes infants to geriatrics, focus on adult respiratory therapy.
Required skills include airway & vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, and CPAP/BiPAP.

Additional Details

Photo ID required.
RTO guidelines must be met along with specific facility requirements.
Compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may result in start date push back due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
