    Job details
  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS. Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. When submitting candidates include a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.
    Job requirements
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • This is a 13-week contract assignment and requires at least one 13-week previous travel assignment and two (2) years current experience required in specialty.
  • EMR: EPIC experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site.
  • Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
    Schedule information
  • 12-hour Night Shift; start time 1900.
  • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
  • On call, weekends and holidays may be required, per staff rotation.
  • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
    Additional Details
  • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024).
  • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
  • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
  • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
