Certification details
- Acute Medical Inpatient- Intermediate Step down Telemetry Class I
- ASAP Start
- 13 weeks duration
- 36 hours per week
- Shift from 7pm to 7am
- Every other holiday required
- Every other weekend required
- No call responsibilities
- Experience with cardiology, cardiac medications/infusions, telemetry/temporary pacemakers, post procedural, Cath Lab, EP, TAVRs, CHF, RAF, medication loading, pre-ops for Cardiac Surgery, CVICU step down, Vascular PACUs (AAA/Carotids), Pre and post op cardiac procedures
- BLS certification is required
- ACLS certification is preferred
- EHR System: Epic
- Previous travel experience required
- No local contracts. Contracts only if 75+ miles proximity

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
