2 years labor and delivery experience
May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Job requirements

Must be AHA certified
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
Nursys quick confirm verifications for all APRN, RNs and LPN/LVNs
Nursys used to review ALL license activity in all states
Copy of the physical license is not required
Completed Ascension Color Vision prior to start and updated every 3 years
HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics
If fetal monitoring is not covered on the competency exam, a program within past 2 years is required
Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation needs to be uploaded by the Agency
Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding done onsite
Ascension Nova StatStrip
Ascension Specialty Exam
Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer
If Negative titer, must have booster vaccine
No exemptions accepted for certain areas related to potential contact with vulnerable populations
Annual Fit Test
Hepatitis B documentation of vaccination series completion OR declination
Influenza Vaccine updated annually
Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment and updated annually
Driver's License/State ID must match the home state for RNs with compact licenses
Varicella proof of immunity via documentation or serological evidence
Tdap valid for 10 years
Ascension skills checklist required annually
12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
