  • Hospital in Coastal California seeks a Speech Language Therapist to work in an outpatient setting.
  • Schedule is 5 days a week and some weekends.
  • Must hold the California State Speech Language Pathologist license and AHA BLS.
    Job requirements
  • Must hold the California State Speech Language Pathologist license
  • BLS
  • Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Verification
  • Outpatient adult SLP experience required
    Schedule information
  • 5 days a week and some weekends
  • Outpatient 0830-1700
  • No weekend requirement for outpatient clinic
  • No holiday requirement
    Additional Details
  • NICOTINE FREE facility, included in drug screen
  • This opening is for their Hartnell Clinic.
  • 6 patients per day, in 75-minute time slots
  • Outpatient patient care, treating primarily swallowing and voice disorders
  • Outpatient clinic only
  • Adult patients only, no pediatrics
  • Open to extending travelers to greater than 13 weeks
  • No traveler tandems or duos
  • Team player, positive attitude required

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
