Job details

MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs.
COVID vaccinations not required, however strongly encouraged.
As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from Welle (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI for onboarding and clearance.
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Job requirements

2+ years of Current Med Surg - Required
MUST be willing to float to other units as needed
Peritoneal Dialysis training - Preferred
Experience in Oncology Care and End Of Life Care - Highly Preferred but not required
Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle - This is a firm requirement.
Work History, Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
