    Job details
  • 8 Week Holiday Incentive - Piedmont is offering a holiday incentive rate for travelers willing to start on posted start date for an 8 week assignment - 36 or 48hrs options.
  • To qualify, travelers must have no RTO and must be willing to work Christmas Eve (12/24), Christmas Day (12/25), New Year's Eve (12/31), and New Year’s Day (1/1) - they might not be scheduled all holidays but they must be available to work if needed.
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted
  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses consist of spine and neck surgical patients, stroke patients and medical surgical overflow
  • Ratio / Census: 1:5; Average daily census of 30
  • Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
  • RTO: No RTO
  • Weekends: Every other weekend
  • Floating: Yes, within facility
  • Call Requirements: None

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
