Job details

This RN Telemetry I position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience. Float is required and candidates must have used EPIC within the last 12 months. No block schedule requests. Uniform requirement is solid black scrubs.

Job requirements

Candidates must be able to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day along with New Year's Eve or New Year's Day but cannot have both off.

Schedule information

Contract length is 13 weeks. Candidates are only accepted with a maximum of 7 days of RTO. RN's must be available to work during the holidays as mentioned.

Unit specific information

Unit specific competencies and exams are necessary and need to be completed annually. This might include essence exams like the Summa Competency Exam, Summa Skills Checklist, and Summa EKG Exam amongst others.

Additional Details

Bill rates will be adjusted for local candidates within 40 miles.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
