Certification details
- This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specialty at Banner Desert Medical Center.
- Candidates should be willing to work in any department they are experienced with and accept those roles.
- The start date for the assignment should align closely with the Order Start Date listed.
- Candidates should list all facilities they are open to working in on their submission.
- All shifts and locations open to the candidate must be noted, including state preferences if open to 'any' location.
Job details
- Minimum of 24 months of current ICU experience is required.
- American Heart Association OR American Red Cross certifications must be active upon submission and included.
- No Nursys Hits.
- Candidates must have travel nursing experience (preferred).
- The provided Banner Cover Page must be completely filled out.
- Resume must detail all facilities worked, including facility size, beds, trauma level, and units.
- Skills Checklist specific to the discipline must be less than a year old.
- Active license verification must be less than 30 days old.
Job requirements
- Candidates must list all acceptable shifts on the submission.
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be less than 7 days and will not be approved in the first 2 weeks of assignment.
- Banner will not approve RTO within the first week or holidays.
Schedule information
- Details about specific units the candidate is willing to work in should be checked on the cover page.
Unit specific information
- Flu vaccination status should be added in submission notes (Banner declinations can be applied for).
- Travel experience is preferred.
- Potential fees included: Banner assesses a 2% payment discount fee and a 2% technology fee on all transactions.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
