- Must have Triage experience
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
- The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the Emergency Department.
- He / She communicates with the physician about the changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Is capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment.
- Is knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker.
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

- Annual Respirator fit test. Can complete onsite with notice & a $50 cash fee.
- 3 doses, if not titers are required.
- Flu Vaccine or declination required October 1 - May 31. Declinations accepted.
- Annual, Except Saint Marys Regional Medical Center- Nevada must be completed within 60 days of start. Must state clear to work.
- Within 60 days of start. *CA Locations ONLY*. As of 1/01/24 California law permits the testing for marijuana psychoactive metabolites only by saliva.
- National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date.
- Exceptions are:
- FL / MI / TX: Must have background check completed before beginning assignment.
- AL / OH / NV: Agency employees assigned to Behavioral Health unit must have a background check before beginning the assignment.
- GA / NJ / OH: Agency employees assigned to Substance Abuse Program unit must have a background check before beginning the assignment.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
