  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • Dr Browns Infant Driven Feeding Cert Required but can submit with that pending
    Job details
  • SRO Float Pool floating to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, peds med-surg, peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother baby
  • Must have PICU and NICU experience and be comfortable with peds, can consider previous NICU/PICU float pool exp
  • Clinical review and auto offer
  • Can offer 36 or 48 hours
  • 13 weeks
  • Every other weekend, must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
  • Can approve 40 hours for time off
  • Must adhere to UVA's float policy
  • Can submit with VA license pending
  • Must have Epic experience

  • Must have PICU and NICU experience
  • Prefer candidates with previous NICU/PICU float pool experience
  • BLS, NRP and PALS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • Dr Browns Infant Driven Feeding Cert Required but can submit with that pending, has a cost of $185

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
