- Proof of vaccine from Oct-March or exemptions must be submitted for approval. No declinations allowed. If exemption is needed for medical or religious reasons only, signed UH Exemption Form and UH Masking Attestation Form required to be signed.
- 2-Step TB test with negative reads within the last 6 months. Either true PPD 2-step or QuantiFERON/TSPOT is acceptable. This is an annual requirement.
- Resume to include Education and Work History, 2 Professional References required within the last 2 years, and Job Application to be completed by the candidate.
- Ran within 6 months of Start. Search includes: SSN Trace and County searches for the last 7 years of locations lived/worked/in school.
- Verified to be ran separately from background check - To be complete within 6 months prior to start updated annually.
- Supporting documentation that the individual was screened and cleared. To be complete within 6 months prior to start.
- Ran within 60 days upon initial start date to include the following drugs: Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cannabis, Cocaine, Methadone, Methaqualone, Opioids, PCP, Propoxyphene. If there is a break in assignment greater than 60 days, then a new 10 panel UDS must be performed.
- Safety and Compliance Training modules emailed to agency POC by UHS after acceptance. Candidates need to complete module prior to clearance.
- Influenza Vaccine required.
- Non-expired photo ID provided.
- Chest X-Rays valid for 5 years.
- Background Hits – Traveler must provide a written summary of the incident.
- OIG Search - https://exclusions.oig.hhs.gov/
- SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC Search needed.
- INSTANT DRUG SCREENS NOT ALLOWED.
- 10 panel UDS - INSTANT DRUG SCREENS NOT ALLOWED. Attestations not allowed.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
