Required for clinical positions only (AHA or ARC acceptable)
Primary Source Verification of professional license, and/or certification, as required for the position ran within 30 days of start updated upon expiration. For RNs use BON & NURSYS. Please combine both and upload.
Complete within 12 months - does not expire
2 vaccines or positive titer. If low or equivocal 1 Booster or declination accepted.
Completed prior to start. Acceptable masks include: Moldex 1510, 3M 1860s, 3M 1860, Moldex 1513, 3M 1870+ Respirator.
Required September 1st through March 31st – Must be from CURRENT flu season. Flu declinations may be accepted on condition traveler wear a mask at all time during flu season
PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot within 1 year of start. Chest X-ray within 5 years of start for Positive PPD. Will accept TBQ in lieu of TB for anyone who has received COVID-19 vaccine in last 4 weeks
Physician Statement within the last 12 months
Unexpired government issued photo ID
Valid for 10 years from the administered date. Declinations accepted.
Within 30 days of Start. Search includes: SS Trace and County searches for the last 7 years of locations lived/worked/in school. Nationwide, Sex Offender. Does not expire. Must renew with any break in service.

Job details

The Medical Care Unit for our facility is a unit that has less acute patients that may just be awaiting placement to a long term care facility.
They may be a variety of medical diagnoses.
The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab and nurse may have to float between the two units.
Inpatient Rehab is a designated unit for intense rehab services.
Telemetry experience preferred.
Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry and Psychiatric Issues.

Job requirements

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
