ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Required
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support: As required
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course: Not required for ER RNs
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure: As required
NIH Stroke Certification: Required for certain units

Position/Specialty: MS/Tele RN
Shift: Manager will accept 3x12s or 4x12s, Nights (7p-7a)
Ratios: 1:6-7
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend
First-timers accepted: No
Years of experience REQ: 3 years of experience
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Call Out Policy: After 2 call outs (per contract) without a documented medical reason, a contract will be considered for cancellation

Job requirements

License REQ: active license or Compact license
Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, NIH
Special Requirements: Tele competency required

Schedule information

Weekend REQ: Every other weekend
RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. No additional PTO will be approved after accepting the assignment. All PTO must be on the contract to be considered. Schedules must be flexible to fill the needs of the unit.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
