Certification details
- Under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor, a trained technologist performs all diagnostic procedures with the knowledge of all pertinent and academic areas to produce consistent, high quality exams.
- The CT technologist works effectively with patients and physicians and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.
- Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a technologist.
- The training they receive will enable this person to perform all necessary procedures on patients in all age groups.
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs any color
- EMR: HMS Medhost
- Patient Population: Newborn - Geriatric
- Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
- RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
- NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
- Traveler must be willing to work ONE of the following: Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.

- Minimum 2 years current Imaging/CT experience - Required
- MUST HAVE ARRT (CT) CERTIFICATION - REQUIRED
- ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY/HIT THE GROUND RUNNING - REQUIRED
- IV Skills - Required
- Proficiency with MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, Siemens, OEC C-arm - Highly Preferred
- Travel experience – Preferred
- Bachelor Degree - Preferred
Job requirements
- This is a small community without public transport.
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
- This is a firm requirement.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
