Job details

General job duties include performing MRI Studies on Outpatients and Inpatients, Critical Care, ER and Pediatrics on all body parts.
Equipment utilized includes GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, Siemens Definition Edge, SECTRA PACS system, VRAD night service, EPIC Electronic Charting.

Job requirements

Independent working.
Proficient at Neuro, MSK and Abdominal Imaging.
Prefer Minimum 5 years of experience.

Schedule information

Monday-Friday with varying day and evening shifts as assigned.
12 hour weekend shifts as assigned.
Occasional call coverage as assigned.

Unit specific information

MRI only - No Floating to other units/departments.
Orientation - Typically 2 weeks.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
