Job details

We are a 30 bed ED, see between 100-120 patients a day. Less than 5% pediatrics. Less than 10% ESI level 4 & 5. Comprehensive stroke center. We do open hearts, neurosurgery. Texas children's across the street. Need someone who can handle our volume, acuity and fast pace.

Job requirements

prefer RN with previous travel exp
EPIC required

Schedule information

6 weekend shifts in a 6 week period (weekends are Sat/Sun);7p - 7a

Additional Details

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS; prefer RN with previous travel exp
BLS and ACLS required, TNCC and PALS preferred

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
