Job details
- HCP’s permanent address must be greater than 75 Miles from the work assignment location.
- Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.

Job requirements
- Shift: 6;30p-7a (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
- OT: After 48
- Floating Required: Yes
- HOLIDAY COVERAGE
- 48 HOUR CONTRACTS (will take 36 as well)
- NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO
- MUST WORK 1 MAJOR HOLIDAY
- 11/18-12/9 STARTS - 8 WEEKS

- Unit: ICU
- Scrub Color: Navy
- Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14
- Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
- Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi
- CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx
- Drips and medications: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin,Dobutamine & Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG ,Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl,TPN and Insulin
- Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
