    Job details
  • Neurology Unit 2N (10278): 2N is a 35 medical/surgical unit, which takes Ortho/Neuro, Med/Surg, and Oncology.
  • They take patients on general telemetry, monitored in a monitor room but no cardiac gtts.
  • The typical patient population is stroke, post back surgeries, post hip/knee replacement.
  • They also take our oncology population.
    Job requirements
  • The certifications needed are ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
    Unit specific information
  • Neurology Unit 2N details as outlined in job details.
    Additional Details
  • Must be AHA.
  • Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
  • Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RNs and LPN/LVNs.
  • Nursys should be used to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement.
  • Copy of the physical license is not required.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
