ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required for this role.
State Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Certification verification is required (RRT, NBRC, ARRT, RCP, AMT, ASCP).

Job details

Registered Respiratory Therapist position available at Summa Health, Akron Campus.
The role includes assessing patient care, performing respiratory/pulmonary procedures, participating in emergency response, maintaining equipment, and documenting treatments and responses.

Job requirements

Must confirm physician orders, assess appropriateness, and ensure quality patient care.
Requires explaining procedures to patients and maintaining a safe environment.
Participates in patient care teams, quality improvement programs and stays current on new techniques and procedures.
Attends in-services, meetings and conferences for professional development.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
