    Job details
  • A large hospital in Arizona is looking for an experienced Cath Lab Rad Tech for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
    Job requirements
  • 2+ years of Cath Lab experience.
  • Experience with interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement.
  • Experience with Cerner and Xper EMR.
  • Experience with Phillips and Siemens equipment.
  • LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    Schedule information
  • 12 hr shifts. 6-630, Monday-Friday.
  • Call - 8-12 days per month.
  • Work weekends and holidays per unit requirements.
    Unit specific information
  • Unit: Cath Lab
  • # beds: 3 main and 1 is EP & 1 is Hybrid (does both vascular & cardiac cases)
  • # cases: 10-25 cases per day.
  • Charge Nurse: Yes
  • Nurse Aides: Rad techs - Circulating and Scrub.
  • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on job.
  • Weekend Requirement: Call - 8-12 days per month.
  • Holidays: Work into rotation.
  • Scrub Color: Provided
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement.
    Additional Details
  • Medical Solutions Pre-Screens and manager will call for a 2nd interview or offer off of notes and profile.
  • The candidate cannot have worked in Arizona for the past 12 months/one year as a permanent staff employee and does not have a currently active position at an acute care hospital or hospital system in Arizona (as of 2/4/2022).

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
