    Job details
  • ***Travelers must live within 30 mins or less from the facility to respond as expected when on call for STEMIs. This should be considered when procuring housing***
    Job requirements
  • Years of experience REQ: At least 1 year with Cath Lab and EP experience
  • First-timers accepted: Yes, as long as they have Cath Lab and EP experience
  • Is on-call REQ? (Y/N): Yes, will need to take call 1 to 2 weekends per month
  • Required Exp: EP experience (can monitor, pace and burn), Circulate, Cath Lab Experience to include PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella Insertion, and Ballon Pump
  • Preferred Exp: Scrub, Circulate, and Monitor in all cases, Tilt table study experience, Cardioversion, Vascular Experience (Carotid and Peripheral), PFA and Watchman experience
    Schedule information
  • Shift: 5x8s, Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
  • Weekend REQ: 1 to 2 weekends per month
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N): Approval prior to assignment, but not guaranteed.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
    Unit specific information
  • The traveler will float to EP as needed
    Additional Details
  • All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs.
  • Local Radius: 60 miles
  • Locals Accepted: No locals accepted
  • Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
