Job requirements

Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer. If Negative titer, must have booster vaccine. Exemptions are NOT accepted for persons working in certain areas.
Fit Test required for all disciplines, Annual.
Documentation of vaccination series completion OR documentation of declination to vaccine for Hepatitis B.
Influenza Vaccine required starting Sept 4th, 2023 for all new travelers. Needs to be updated every year.
Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire if applicable.
Documentation of a statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
Driver's license or State ID required based on residence for certain professionals.
2 Step PPD OR IGRA required within a specific timeframe from the start date unless provided earlier.
Proof of two Varicella vaccines, immunity or a history verified by a healthcare provider. Titers required if no proof is found.
Tdap valid 10 years from the administered date.
Resume or Profile submission required.
At least two professional references required prior to first assignment.
Criminal background check including various checks required every year or after a break in service.
Skills checklist to be completed annually in specialty.
Drug screen covering specific substances to be done before the start of the first assignment and updated annually.
Badge photo with a white or blue background required.
Education verification to be done in accordance with applicable laws.
Confirmation of Assignment to be provided.
Influenza Vaccine Exemption/Declination policy in place for certain periods.

Cons

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
