ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required for several specialties.
BLS - Basic Life Support is a general requirement.
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required for RNs in specific areas.

Radiology / Cardiology nursing position in Columbus, GA.
Part of Piedmont Healthcare system, specific facility: Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus.
Employment type: Travel/Contract.

Schedule information

Schedule Requirements: M-F.
RTO: MAX 7 days.
Weekends: None.
Call Requirements: Possible call Mon - Fri 16:00 - 22:00; Sat - Sun 08:00 - 22:00.
Holidays: Department is closed on major holidays
Floating: Possibility of having to go to Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside for STAT in patients.
Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; push back is 2 weeks for non-compliance.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
