Job details

Registered Nurse (RN) at Karmanos / Toledo Clinic Cancer Center.
Responsible for establishing a therapeutic relationship and creating a detailed plan of care with the patient and family.
Evaluates the effectiveness of plans and interventions to promote optimal achievement of established goals.
Initiates and maintains open communication with other members of the team to assure coordinated and integrated care.

Job requirements

2 years experience in nursing - Required.
Oncology experience - Required.
Radion experience - Highly preferred.
Skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties - Required.

Schedule information

The contract is for a period of 13 weeks.
Karmanos / Toledo Clinic policy includes limitations on unscheduled absence and tardies.

Additional Details

Michigan license verification required for nurses.
Full-time employees of McLaren not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
Physical copies of certifications only required if listed.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
